The US exported 21 LNG shipments in the week ending July 21, while feed gas deliveries to liquefaction plants averaged 10.4 billion cubic feet.
Compared to the last week, natural gas deliveries to US LNG export plants dropped by 0.33 Bcf/d as shipments increased by one, the Energy Information Administration said in its weekly natural gas report.
Six US terminals dispatched the 21 cargoes during the week of July 15-July 21. The total capacity of LNG vessels carrying these cargoes is 76 Bcf.
This compares to 71 Bcf in the week before and 20 shipments.
In addition, Cheniere’s Sabine Pass plant dispatched six cargoes in the week under review, while its Corpus Christi plant sent four cargoes.
Freeport shipped five cargoes as three shipments departed from the Cameron facility. Cove Point shipped two cargoes and Elba Island exported one.
The Henry Hub spot price rose from $3.75/MMBtu last Wednesday to $3.91/MMBtu two days ago, the agency said.
