Shell continues to build a network of liquefied natural gas filling stations for trucks in Germany as a growing number of owners opt to use LNG instead of diesel.
The newest station is located in Wesseling, an industrial German city on the Rhine bordering Cologne on the south.
Shell Germany said earlier this year it had planned to open new locations in Germany in the autumn.
The firm is looking to launch up to 40 filling stations for the heavy-duty road transport sector in Germany in the next few years.
In addition to the stations in Germany, Shell has also at least 32 LNG stations for trucks located in Europe.
