Galileo announced the contract for the MMscfd small-scale LNG plant in a social media post on Tuesday.
This agreement marks a “significant” milestone in the deployment of modular and distributed LNG solutions across Indonesia.
“By monetizing stranded gas resources, we are ensuring the delivery of clean, reliable energy to off-grid and industrial consumers,” the company said.
Galileo did not provide the contract price or other project details.
The company noted that Jakarta-based Penta Gas Sistems (PGS) facilitated the partnership between NES and Galileo.
This is Galileo’s second project in Indonesia.
Last year, US contractor Matrix Service selected Galileo to provide its liquefaction units for a peak shaving facility in the US.
Three Cryobox units will recover and reliquefy boil-off gas (BOG) at the facility.
