EnerMech clinches five-year deal from Chevron Australia

EnerMech said it has secured another five-year contract from Chevron Australia to provide a range of integrated services to its Western Australian oil and gas facilities.

The new deal will see EnerMech continue to deliver pipeline services including pipe cleaning, nitrogen purging, and process plant drying to Chevron’s Australian unit.

In addition, the firm will provide integrity leak and pressure testing, hydraulic hose integrity management, and specialist hydraulic services, it said.

“Having worked together since 2016, we have built up a trusted relationship with Chevron and we are proud to be continuing our work together over the next five years and beyond,” Paul McCarthy, EnerMech’s regional director for Asia Pacific, said.

Aberdeen-based EnerMech did not specify the facilities but Chevron’s largest developments in Western Australia include the Gorgon and Wheatstone LNG projects.

The firm previously provided services for both of the projects.
