HAM adds new LNG filling station in Spain

Spain’s HAM Group has opened a new LNG filling station for trucks in Riba-roja de Túria, near Valencia.

The fixed LNG station replaces a mobile unit that HAM installed at the site back in 2019, the firm said in a statement on Thursday.

Moreover, the station features a 90-cbm tank with two refueling units, designed and built by HAM Criogénica. Each of the units has two LNG hoses for trucks and heavy vehicles, as well as a CNG hose for cars, light vehicles, and trucks, according to HAM.

HAM says it monitors the new LNG and fixed gas station remotely, continuously registering different parameters, which “guarantee its perfect operation and allows the rapid resolution of any incident.”

The Barcelona-based firm has more than 80 LNG and CNG service stations spread across Spain but also on the main European land transport routes. It recently also delivered its 100th station in total.
