Pakistan seeks eight spot LNG cargoes

State-owned Pakistan LNG has released a new tender inviting firms to submit bids for a total of eight cargoes for delivery over the April-June period.

Pakistan LNG offered eight windows for the cargo deliveries, according to the tender document posted on its website.

The first window includes only April 30, followed by three windows spanning from May 11-12, May 16-17, May 26-27, while the fifth slot only includes May 31.

The seventh cargo window is for June 8-9, the eighth is for June 18-19, and the last window includes a cargo delivery from June 27-28, Pakistan LNG said.

The importer is seeking the cargoes on a delivered ex-ship (DES) basis while the tender closes on March 30.

Moreover, the potential tender winner will deliver the shipments to Port Qasim, Karachi, home of Pakistan’s two FSRU-based LNG facilities.

To remind, Pakistan LNG revealed last month Qatar Petroleum’s trading unit but also Vitol as the lowest bidders for April cargoes.
