The shipping firm announced the new milestone in a social media post.
During the operation, the 7,500-cbm bunkering vessel FueLNG Bellina, owned by a JV of Shell and Seatrium, supplied LNG to EPS’s dual-fuel PCTC Lake Villarica in Singapore.
EPS said this milestone “demonstrates how far we have come in scaling LNG as a viable marine fuel and embedding it into daily fleet operations.”
EPS completed its first LNG bunkering operation in November 2020, the 50th operation in September 2022, the 100th operation in June 2023, the 250th operation in 2024, the 400th operation and the 450th operation last year.
In November last year, the company completed its 500th STS LNG bukering operation.
The company has a large fleet of LNG-powered vessels, including containerships, tankers, bulkers, and PCTCs.
EPS previously said that its fleet includes 137 LNG dual-fuel vessels.
It is worth mentioning here that Singapore’s LNG bunkering sales rose 23.9 percent in 2025 compared to the year before, reaching a new yearly record, according to Singapore’s Maritime and Port Authority.
Bunkering data on MPA’s website shows LNG bunkering sales in the world’s largest bunkering port reached 571,350 mt last year.
