The port, home to Gasunie’s and Vopak’s Gate LNG import terminal, said that total LNG throughput reached 9.6 million mt in the nine-month period.

This compares to 8.4 million mt in the same period last year

The port reported a throughput of 6.5 million mt in the first half of this year, a rise of 9 percent compared to 6 million mt in the first half of 2024.

In 2024, LNG throughput reached 11.3 million mt, down 5.3 percent compared to 11.9 million mt in 2023.

Europe’s largest bunkering port previously reported LNG bunkering volumes of 270,254 cubic meters in the third quarter of this year.
